Music by John Klingler

When asked what kind of music he composes and performs, John is
inclined to call it "Gentle-elemental New Millennium Acoustic" or "New
Age guitar-driven music with fur, teeth, and a world-oriented
consciousness." Cliff Morgan, co-owner of The Coffee Mill and the
Flipside in Clayton, NC, described John's performances as "truly
magical."

John, with co-producer Paul Barton at Studio 415, released his debut
CD entitled Record of a Moment in February 2005. It features six
original songs and five instrumental compositions. The sounds on the
record include John on vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, and
harp guitar. The textures range from bare-bones solo guitar or harp
guitar in fingerpicking and percussive rhythm styles to songs with
lush atmospheres and strange sound effects. Thomas Klingler
contributes deft bass arrangements on several tunes, and Paul
Barton enhances the presentation with percussion, pennywhistle,
