John's music-related links, in no particular order Michael Hedges' Nomadland Have you ever come upon a work of art and said to yourself, "This is IT!"? Michael Hedges' music inspired me to pick up the guitar again after many years of letting my musical energies go dormant. Even after his death in a 1997 car crash, his songs, his sense of life, his approach to composition, and his inventive guitar expression continue to inspire musicians and music-lovers around the world. I had the good fortune to watch Michael perform solo in Chapel Hill, NC, and it was a sublime experience that I'll never forget. Rootwitch THE Michael Hedges tribute site and resource for guitarists.
